History:  48-year-old male with right shoulder pain, stiffness, and limited range of motion for 1 month.  No history of acute injury, surgery, or cancer.

2012 Case of the Month - Number 1A 19 year-old male involved in MVA on 08/06/2011. Pt suffered injuries to lower back and neck. Most of the pain is in the neck. Patient thinks this is due to a combination of whiplash and impact with the airbag. The neck pain is exacerbated when turning head up, down, right and left.

2011 Case of the Month - Number 919-year-old female soccer player with bilateral snapping hip pain in the lower aspect of her hips.
2011 Case of the Month - Number 851-year-old female, pain and swelling in the DRUJ and ulnar-sided extensor tendons. Decreased range of motion and weakness in the little finger with dorsal swelling of the ulnar wrist and hand. History of Marfan's syndrome.
2011 Case of the Month - Number 750-year-old male with right shoulder pain when pitching baseballs or when exercising with arm weights. He has had the pain for 1.5 months. No known history of trauma.
2011 Case of the Month - Number 6Worsening left knee pain, concern for lateral meniscus tear. History of two prior arthroscopies.

2011 Case of the Month - Number 221-days-old femalewith palpable and visible left neckmass; evaluate for rhabdomyosarcoma, fibromatosis colli, neuroblastoma, and adenopathy.
2011 Case of the Month - Number 1A 76-year-old female with a palpable, nontender mass in left shoulder. Recent sonography of the palpable finding demonstrated diffuse localized thickening of the subcutaneous fat, which was architecturally normal and showed no discrete mass. A left shoulder MRI had reported osteoarthritis and postsurgical changes, but the current area of interest was not within the field of view of a standard shoulder MRI.
