Patient Process

Thank you for choosing ProScan. Our goal is to help you have a positive, relaxing experience. We are here to help you navigate your exam, answer your questions, and deliver accurate results with just one affordable bill. Please review the information below and contact us with questions.

Step 1: Schedule Your Appointment

When you’re ready to schedule your appointment, please have your insurance information readily available. We will be happy to discuss our affordable self-pay options if you do not have insurance.

For timely verification of your benefits, please provide the following information:

  • Your primary and secondary (if any) insurance information
  • Contact number
  • Correct address
  • Current insurance
  • Date of birth
  • Driver’s license
Step 2: Pricing & Insurance Verification

After scheduling your appointment, we will verify your insurance information, including coverage, copay, and any applicable information regarding your deductible. We will also provide an estimate of the charges you can expect for services.

Patient Pricing and Responsibility

Your estimate will include your deductible or copay and any portion of the services that are not covered by your insurance. If you have questions regarding your coverage, your insurance company can provide you with an estimation of benefits. If your scan is not covered, we will provide you with affordable self-pay pricing

Step 3: Preparing for Your Visit

We will call to confirm your appointment and inform you how to best prepare for your scan.

Patient Responsibility

When we verify your coverage, we will call you to discuss the estimated amount you will be billed. This will include your copay and any portion of the services that are not covered by your insurance. If you have questions regarding your coverage, your insurance company can provide you with an estimation of benefits. If you are not using insurance, you are responsible for the payment at the time of your scan unless prior arrangements are made.

Step 4: Your Appointment

Check In: 

When you arrive, please check in and provide us with your insurance card and identification.

Payment/Copay: 

Please pay your applicable financial responsibility at the time of service unless prior payment arrangements have been made. You may use your FSA or HSA card. You will be provided with a receipt for insurance purposes.

Testing: 

Your technologist will discuss your scan and what you can expect during the test. We’ve provided basic information regarding your test in our “What to Expect” section. To learn more about your test, click here.

Your Results: 

Your test results will be available from your referring physician. You can request a copy of your records on here.
